Reading - T3W10 - 2019



LI - To apply inquiry, literacy, numeracy to learn about the RWC.

This activity was about six players that we had to find facts about. The rugby players that we found facts about are named Sonny Bill Williams, Wilson Whineray, Daniel Carter, Jonah Lomu, Brodie Retallick and Richie McCaw. We also had to find their number as well.

Maths - world time - T3W10 - 2019



LI - To apply inquiry, literacy, numeracy to learn about the RWC.


For maths this week we had to to tell the different time zones in different countries that includes our country.
In small countries we just had to say the time of what time it is going to be in there countries on Nov 2.In big countries like America and Canada we have to tell the time in the east coast and the west coast.

Kiwi Sport - Swimming - T3W10 - 2019



LI - To learn special water safety skills.

This activity is about me learning new and special water safety skills for our swimming this week.
In this activity we did new and special things for our water safety swimming skills and the first activity we did was called the Chain.
We had to hold the person that is at the front of you they are the people that you have to hold their shoulders and for the next activity we done was a game that is named Huggle.
Huggle is a activity that has to use six people in the group to do the Huggle for doing the Huggle you need to put your legs thin the middle of the circle then push agents each other and separate from the circle.
What we have learnt this week is to swim with life jackets so that we don't drown drawing our swimming session.
Our Water safety teachers that we had are named Livvy and Amanda that were helping us so that we can learn some new and special water safety skills as swimming for the last week of swimming and of learning new and special water safety skills.

Rube Goldburg simple machines - T3W10 - 2019






LI: To make a working Rube Goldberg machine with the 6 simple machines.

There are 6 simple machines. They are: Pulley, Screw, Inclined Plane, Wedge, Wheel and Axle and a Lever. We needed to use these 6 simple machines to create our own Rube Goldberg machines to complete one of three scenarios. The three scenarios we had to choose from I were: Tipping dice out of a cup, putting a ball into a cup and turning on a netbook. We needed to try to make a successful working Rube Goldberg machine using as many of the simple machines as we could. Rube Goldberg created machines to complete tasks in simple ways. The task we had to complete was trying to turn on a chrome-book and the materials we used were four wooden shapes, one meter ruler,toy car,  yoyo, container, string, and a cup..the simple machines we used were the pulley, lever, inclined plane, and a wheel and axle.   


Reflection 
Some of the challenges we faced were trying corporate as a group and share ideas because everyone had different ideas and it was hard to keep up with all the different ideas.  Why do you think this failed ? I think our simple machine failed because we didn't have put everything in the right place. Something we could change or did differently to make it work was to use the right materials.

Kiwi Sport - T3W9 2019

LI - To learn how to use water safety.


This week for kiwi sport we have been learning how to swim with our water safety teacher our water safety teacher was lyvie for her group we have been doing streamline kicking.
Well doing streamline kicking we had to remember to keep our leg straight and long in the the water well holding our breath at the same time.For our next session we were doing rotation and for rotation we have to keep our arms straight while flouting on our backs.Last of all we were doing diving for diving you need to remember to straight and long in the air and you have to put your arms in the back of you ears squeezing up against them and well doing that you just let yourself go into the water.

LI - To cope with challenges.

For kiwi can this week we learnt how to face our own challenges and experience them.
We had to look at three different types of challenges and wrote about our feelings when we face those challenges.
We figured out coping strategies in groups of three to figure out something that was challenging for us drawing that session in our groups and for our group we did quiz.

For my writing this week we have been writing a poster about what we want to sell for our teacher or to our teacher for it we had to plan our poster as advertisement type.
What I want to sell to and for our teacher is a wig I want to sell him a wig because he needs one to cover his head and for other things.

dealing with challenges and for our activity this week our energizer this week our energizer was called balloon pop for the game ballon pop we when we had the ball we had to say a kind of thind that you like to eat with the starting letter of our name.

Duffy role module Assembly - T3W8 - 2019.

This week for role module Duffy Assembly we had a very good vister and the visiter's name was Jamie Wall.  
Jamie Wall is a author and he work with the Moari talivition and he works for morning talivition at the same time some times he is both of the channales and some times he is just on one of the channales at a time, he explores places and fines out things about he goes to every game that the all backs play he can't miss a day of work because if he did he would.

Inquiry - Screw - T3W7 - 2019



LI - To learn about how a screw works.

this week for inquiry we have been learning about how a screw work and we also learnt of how to make a screw using a pipe, stick and a bucket of water for to make a screw and if you want to make a screw you can buy one at the shop or if you have the equipment for to make the screw then make it because it is really better than nothing for to do something that is really helpful for your family and also for you as you doing your work or what you want that will always make your family happy so do it and it will help you well doing work or something.

Maths - Art - T3W7 - 2019



LI - To learn about how to use art wall.

For maths this week we have been learning of how to use the art wall.
The art wall is technically art that we have to do as a colorful peace of art, we had to do over one colour for our art because if we don't it would of been a hole waste of time for all our other work we could have done instead of wasting all that time but it would actually be better than nothing but it would of been better then wasting time but it's worth it than nothing.
this the art that I have done for this week and as you can see my art has more than just one colour my art has two colors and my art may be kind a uncool but it's what I can do and it's better than nothing.

my things that i wanted to sell to my teacher was a lamborghini and also i wanted to sell a wig to my teacher at the same time.

Kiwi Can - T3W7 - 2019

LI - To learn about things that are challenging for you.


For kiwi can this week we have been talking about things that are challenging for you and other people.
For our topic this week we have been learning about resilience and therefore our theme is things that are challenging for you.
For our activity this week we played a game that was called challenging statue.
In the game challenging statue we had to be using our ears and our body to use movement in the game challenging statue.
In challenging statue there are things that the teacher says and we have to do it or you are going to have to be out of the game.
For our energizer we had to get into a group of three the members  in my group were my two best friends anyways  for our energizer we had got given a paper that had shapes and with those shapes we had to make a cross or like a T shape with all those bits or shapes we had on the paper and there were know one that had complete it so the teacher gave us the paper of how to make it and everyone were rousted because we didn't figure it out and lastly we did the point's and we got forty - five point and it was the same as last week but it was better then having zero point or I should say nothing.

For my commenting this week I did my comment on chisa's blog post.My comment was about her work and how good it was she has been giving good effort in her all her blog posts this term and all other terms. 
My comment has encouragement in it so she can always get her % higher instead of lower because she will never get her work done without encouragement.
