Fractions

LI - To differentiate between terms like "halves" and "one half".

What is a fraction?

A fraction is a whole object divided into equal pieces.The simplest fraction is halves.Halves is when an object is divided into two equal pieces. Each piece is called "one half". To create fractions we folded origami paper into fractions. Here are some examples.

Maths - world time - T3W10 - 2019

LI - To apply inquiry, literacy, numeracy to learn about the RWC.


For maths this week we had to to tell the different time zones in different countries that includes our country.
In small countries we just had to say the time of what time it is going to be in there countries on Nov 2.In big countries like America and Canada we have to tell the time in the east coast and the west coast.

LI - to learn of how to create a proportional facts.

For maths this week we have been learning how to create proportional facts.
For our slide my group is called the ASB we are from exponents.
If you want to find out more you can play our proportional facts game but you won't find out enough because we are still working on it.

Basic facts boxes.

This week I did Basic facts boxes This was made by my teacher Mr wong this was used for maths .This basically has addition and division questions and if you get it right then it will correct you and if you get it wrong then  under nether of the number will say wrong and thats my favourite thing about using Basic Facts Boxes . This was not hard but this was not easy for me.

I used my up to 10 and this is my timer it is at the bottom of the page.
